A lot of Community’s and schools in Sweden is showing that they are very interested in sending students from vocational programmes to carry out Work Placement in Rota (Cádiz) Spain. That is why we need backup with a student host, a person who can assist the students with different practical matters, recreational activities, accompany them to doctors/pharmacy if needed. Another important task is to periodically visit students in their apartments and apprenticeship. In addition, of course, to participate in study visits, excursions and other organized activities

Let it not be forgotten that your main function is to a combination of parent and leading figure. Having said that it is therefore especially important for us that you are highly competent of working with people, based on their condition and their options, why not experiences of being a leader. You also need to be responsible and show a positive approach. An obvious fact: You speak English, do you also speak Spanish it is certainly significant.

We consider that the length of your working hours will be 25-50%, with irregular working hours (days, evenings, weekends), a month or for a longer period. If you are a golf player there is great opportunities for you to combine playing golf and being a student host.

We have reason to believe that you are an active senior or a person who wants to take a break for doing something different. Det är ett stort intresse från många kommuner och skolor i Sverige som vill att elever från yrkesprogrammen ska få genomföra sin APL-praktik hos oss i Rota (Cádiz) i Spanien.

Vi behöver därför förstärkning med en Student Värd som kan hjälpa studenterna med olika praktiska frågor, fritidsaktiviteter, följa med till läkare/apotek om det behövs och regelbundet besöka studenterna både på fritiden och på praktikplatserna. Dessutom delta vid studieresor, studiebesök, utflykter och andra aktiviteter.

Du kommer att fungera som en kombination av förälder och ledare. Därför behöver du ha erfarenhet av att ha arbetat med människor, gärna ledarerfarenhet. Du behöver också vara ansvarsfull och positiv. Att du kan tala engelska är en självklarhet och kan du dessutom spanska är det en merit.

Vi bedömer att omfattningen rör sig om 25 - 50% på oregelbundna tider både dagar, kvällar och helger och en månad eller längre. Är du intresserad av att spela golf så finns det stora möjligheter att kombinera detta med uppgiften som Student Värd.
